Project Leaders' Retreat

Project Leaders met for our first PILOT Retreat at Villa Vigoni in Menaggio, Italy from 12-14 June 2023.

The Villa provided a beautiful backdrop for an intense and highly motivating three days, involving short talks from selected Project Leaders, small group and plenary discussions, and plenty of time for informal interactions. We were thrilled to have an fascinating Keynote Lecture from Muzz Haniffa and we look forward to strengthening our partnership with her.

Meeting in person was extremely valuable to deepen our understanding of each other's scientific work and to explore the potential for new collaborations.  Project leaders will carry on these discussions in the coming months as their work on the PILOT projects develops and intensifies.
